At 9 Dots Consulting, we believe that behind every breakthrough and milestone is a team that connects not just through work, but through shared experiences and a common vision. From April 18 to 21, our regional teams from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, South Korea, and Vietnam came together in beautiful Phuket, Thailand, for our much-anticipated company trip — a celebration of growth, unity, and collaboration.
Day 1: Townhall & A Warm Welcome to New Teams
We kick off with an energizing and inspiring Townhall, where all employees gathered for updates, reflections, and a collective look into the future. Our Founder, Mr. Sim Chin Yap, opened the event with remarks, “Thank you for all your hard work and dedication. If you don’t hear it enough, I thank you again on behalf of the management team”. Followed by an engaging company update from Managing Director Jonny Candra, highlighting our achievements, FY25 goal and key strategies for the upcoming quarters.
For those who couldn’t join the trip in person, the Townhall was also streamed live via Microsoft Teams, ensuring everyone across the company remained connected and engaged in our shared journey.
A special moment of this Townhall was the official welcome to our new teams in South Korea and Vietnam, marking another significant step in our regional growth journey.

Island Adventures & Unforgettable Moments
One of the highlights of the trip was our yacht day, where the team explored the breathtaking beaches and islands around Phuket. With clear waters, open skies, and stunning views, it was the perfect setting for relaxation, laughter, and team bonding. It reminded us how valuable it is to pause, celebrate progress, and build connections in new ways — outside of office walls.
Celebrating Culture, Connection & Collaboration
Beyond the fun and adventure, this trip was a celebration of who we are as a team. From meaningful conversations to spontaneous laughter, we shared countless moments that reflected the heart of our company culture.
As Jonny Candra shared in his closing message:
