Yes. Microsoft 365 Copilot only works with information a person can already open. Microsoft 365 Copilot does not fix excessive access. 9 Dots Consulting reviews your permissions before deployment so we find exposure risks early.
What do we need before rolling out Microsoft 365 Copilot?
You need Microsoft 365 readiness, sound permissions, data governance and the right licences. 9 Dots Consulting checks each of these in the Assess step. We then pilot Microsoft 365 Copilot with selected users.
What is the difference between Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio?
Microsoft 365 Copilot is the AI assistant inside your Microsoft 365 apps. Copilot Studio is the tool for building custom agents for your own business tasks. Many organisations start with Microsoft 365 Copilot. 9 Dots Consulting then builds custom agents with them in Copilot Studio.
Can Microsoft help fund my Microsoft 365 Copilot project?
Possibly. Microsoft co-funds eligible Microsoft 365 Copilot projects through ECIF, the End Customer Investment Funds. 9 Dots Consulting is an ECIF Green Partner. Eligibility depends on the criteria and approval of Microsoft.
